Wolfgang Brenner (born November 28, 1956 in Oberwesel ) is a German painter and freelance artist, primarily active in the field of painting, printmaking, photography, object design and installation.

During his studies in Paderborn from 1976 to 1981, Wolfgang Brenner already occupied himself with painting and sculpture and attended seminars with Josef Rikus and Hans Ortner , among others . Wolfgang Brenner has been a freelance artist since 1997, and has been a member of the Federal Association of Visual Artists (BBK) since 1998 . Among other things, he is a member of the board of directors for european artists eV and is a founding member and organizer of the Paderborn Open Studios . He has been organizing the Paderborn International Graphics Symposium since 2018.
