Wolfgang Burnhauser

Wolfgang Burnhauser (born May 6, 1931 in Munich ; † October 13, 2004 ) was a German lawyer .

Career

After Burnhauser passed his Abitur in Munich, he also studied law there and passed both state exams. From 1959 he worked as a lawyer in Munich, he was also an employee of professional organizations. In 1970 he became chairman of the Munich Lawyers' Association, and in 1974 he became vice-president of the Association of Liberal Professions in Bavaria . From 1979 to 1996 he was President of the Bavarian Bar Association . He was also (deputy) representative on the advisory board of the State Commissioner for Data Protection and the Bavarian State Center for New Media . From 1978 until its dissolution in 1999, he was a member of the Bavarian Senate .
