Wolfgang Hartmann (born December 19, 1959 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen ) is a former German ski jumper and today's ski jumping trainer and sports event manager.

Hartmann started skiing at SC Partenkirchen at the age of nine. On January 1, 1983, he jumped for the first and only time in the ski jumping World Cup and was 84 from the large hill in his home town of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. After this jumping, he withdrew from the international ski jumping business and competed for another year at national level.

After his career as a jumper, Hartmann was initially coach of the junior jumpers at SC Partenkirchen for nine years. There he acquired the C, B and A licenses. From 1999 to 2001 he studied at the University of Cologne and completed his studies as a certified trainer. From 2006 to 2011 Hartmann was the head coach of the Swedish national team. From 2011 to October 2012 he was jointly responsible for the Women's World Cup as a race controller.

Wolfgang Hartmann has been the head coach of the South Korean national team since November 2012 and is supposed to prepare it for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang , South Korea .

As a training concept developed by him, he offers sport, training and recreation in the Alps at extraordinary locations. Wolfgang Hartmann trains with everyone, among other places, at 2000 meters or on the Olympic hill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
