Wolfgang Kühne (athletics trainer)

Wolfgang Kühne (born August 16, 1956 ) is a German athletics trainer . He is national trainer heptathlon at the German Athletics Association . He is also the home trainer in Halle (Saale) for the decathletes Rico Freimuth , Michael Schrader and Norman Müller , the hurdler Cindy Roleder and the heptathlete Julia Mächtig .

Wolfgang Kühne studied sports science at the German University for Physical Culture and has been working in Halle (Saale) as a coach in jumping and all-around competitions since 1984. He was an active decathlete himself and as this 1979 GDR runner-up. His best performance was 8026 points (old point table).
