Wolfgang Lakenmacher
Wolfgang Lakenmacher (born October 8, 1943 in Neuenhofe ) is a former German handball player and coach .
Life
Lakenmacher played for SC Magdeburg from 1967 to 1977 and became East German champions with the club in 1970 and 1977. He was part of the SCM team captain. For the East German national team who played pivot player total of 198 times. In 1970 and 1974 Lakenmacher was runner-up with the GDR national team, and the team took fourth place at the 1972 Olympic Games .
After his career as a player, Lakenmacher became a trainer and trained, among other things, the TV Großwallstadt . His son Sven also became a handball player.
