Wolfgang List

Wolfgang List (born September 19, 1935 in Mainz , † December 21, 1995 in Ansbach ) was a German politician ( SPD ).

List attended elementary school in Koblenz , after the evacuation of the city he went to school in Höpfingen and Dornberg in the Odenwald . He passed his Abitur at the humanistic grammar school in Ansbach. He studied law at the University of Erlangen and worked in the legal preparatory service in Erlangen , Berlin and Ansbach. From 1964 he worked as a lawyer in Ansbach. In 1973 he became an employee in the Federal Ministry of Finance , in 1975 then an employee of the SPD parliamentary group as well as the Higher Government Council and in 1977, finally, government director.

List joined the SPD in 1958. For a short time in the early 1970s he was district chairman of the SPD Ansbach-Stadt und - Land . In 1974 he became chairman of the local SPD association in Ansbach. He was a member of the Ansbach city council, the administrative council of the Stadt- und Kreissparkasse Ansbach and from 1978 to 1982 the Bavarian state parliament .
