Wolfgang Oehms (born October 24, 1932 in Saffig , Mayen district ; † October 3, 1993 in Trier ) was a German organist .

Oehms studied church music at the Cologne University of Music . In 1957 he passed his concert exam there . From 1953 to 1959 he held office at the collegiate church in Bonn . In 1959 he was appointed cathedral organist in Trier , where he worked until 1993. He taught as a lecturer at the Episcopal Church Music School in Trier and at the Music Academy in Saarbrücken . From 1969 he also held the office of organ expert. Oehms has given concerts in France , Israel , South Africa , Japan , Thailand , Sri Lanka , Singapore , Hong Kong , the Philippines and the USA .
