Wolfgang Röhl

Wolfgang Röhl (* 1947 in Stade ) is a German journalist and crime writer. He is currently working for the publication peculiarly free (ef) and the weblog Axis des Guten .

Life

Wolfgang Röhl grew up in Stade . His older brother is the former Konkret editor Klaus Rainer Röhl .

Röhl studied literature , Romance studies and English . In 1968 he became a journalist and worked for various publications. From 1980 he was editor of the weekly magazine Stern for 30 years . From 2009 to 2016, Röhl's articles appeared on Sven von Storch's blog Die Freie Welt . Röhl has been writing peculiarly free for the magazine since 2013 and Henryk M. Broders and Dirk Maxeiner's political blog Axis des Guten .

In 2007 his first crime novel Im Norden stormy winds was published by MCE Verlag . With Inselkoller (2009), Straßenkampf (2011) and Brand Marken (2015), three more thrillers followed in the same publishing house .

Röhl lives in Lower Saxony and Hamburg .
