Wolfgang Schlueter (* 1943 ) is an anthropologist .

biography

Schlüter studied philosophy , psychology , sociology and education with Michael Marlet, Pio Sbyndi and Viktor Frankl in Innsbruck , with Paul Ricœur and Henri Dubarle in Paris and with Walter Schulz , Ernst Bloch and Otto Friedrich Bollnow in Tübingen . In 1971 he received his doctorate in philosophy at the University of Innsbruck with the work of Paul Tillich's concept of philosophy and its effects on the question of mediation in the philosophy of religion at the University of Innsbruck , and was then until 1977 lecturer in anthropology and social philosophy at the Catholic University of Applied Sciences in North Rhine-Westphalia (KFH NW) meanwhile, professor emeritus for philosophical anthropology, political philosophy and ethics at the KatHo NRW in Aachen . From 1985 to 1989 he was dean of the Aachen department of KatHo NRW. His research focus is the ethics of social work . He is also active in youth work, homeless work and adult education.
