Wolfgang Staudenmaier

Wolfgang Staudenmaier (born November 16, 1948 in Eberbach ) is a German chef .

Career

After completing his training, Staudenmaier went to Switzerland and then to the Hotel Atlantic in Hamburg . After further positions in Switzerland, he went to Eckart Witzigmann in Munich in 1977 as chief saucer at Tantris .

In 1978 he became head chef in the Schwarzwaldstube restaurant in the Hotel Traube Tonbach in Baiersbronn , which was awarded two Michelin stars . In 1980 he moved to Geitlinger's restaurant in Homburg , which received a Michelin star.

From 1987 he was head chef of the Da Gianni restaurant in Mannheim , which had been awarded two Michelin stars for over ten years. In November 2011 he retired.
