Wolfgang von Heusinger

Wolfgang von Heusinger (born September 16, 1928 in Berlin ) is a Hessian politician ( CDU ) and former member of the Hessian state parliament .

education and profession

After attending school in Berlin and Kassel , von Heusinger was drafted as an air force helper in 1944. After the end of the war, he attended school again and in 1947 passed the Abitur at the Friedrichsgymnasium in Kassel. Agricultural training took place from 1947 to 1952 before von Heusinger took over his parents' farm in 1952. In 1956 he became an agricultural master. Wolfgang von Heusinger is married and has 4 children.

politics

Wolfgang von Heusinger was a member of the CDU and was active there in various board positions. From 1975 he was deputy chairman of the CDU in the Kassel district . In terms of local politics, he had been active as a community representative in Lohfelden since 1964 , where he led the CDU parliamentary group from 1968 to 1980. From 1964 to 1975 he was a member of the district council. From December 1, 1974 to April 4, 1991 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament for five electoral terms.

Other offices

Heusinger had been a member of the main committee of the Kassel district farmers 'association since 1958 and head of the local farmers' association in Lohfelden since 1962. He was a board member of the agricultural trade association and the agricultural health insurance company. Heusinger was also active in the Protestant church. He was church chairman, church elder and from 1968 to 1986 regional synodal of the Evangelical Church of Kurhessen-Waldeck .
