The Wolfmeer is a former nature reserve in the Lower Saxony municipality of Moormerland in the district of Leer .

The nature reserve with the registration NSG WE 103 was 26.9  hectares . It was part of the FFH area of the same name . The area has been under nature protection since December 5, 1942. In December 2017, the newly designated nature reserve “ Veenhuser Königsmoor ” opened up. The responsible lower nature conservation authority was the district of Leer.

The area to the north-east of Leer is formed by a silting lake and a peat bog area surrounding it . The lake is overgrown by cotton grass - peat moss - swinging lawns and surrounded by meadows of pipe grass , which can also be found in the surrounding areas. The peated bog is also covered with bushes.
