Wolfram Zingerle
Wolfram Zingerle (born February 19, 1854 in Innsbruck ; † May 8, 1913 there ) was an Austrian Romance studies and librarian.
life and work
Wolfram Zingerle was the son of the German specialist Ignaz Vinzenz Zingerle . He received his doctorate in Erlangen in 1880 with the text About Raoul de Houdenc and his works . He completed his habilitation in 1884 with Adolf Mussafia at the University of Vienna with a thesis on the old French prose novel Floris et Liriope by Robert de Blois (Heilbronn 1891, Wiesbaden 1968) and from autumn 1886 held lectures at the University of Innsbruck at changing intervals , as he was also Amanuensis (later scriptor, last senior librarian) of the university library. His field of work was above all the old French literature.
