Wolfsbach is a district of the Niederaichbach community in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut . Until 1971 it formed an independent municipality.

Wolfsbach is located on the creek of the same name about three kilometers southwest of Niederaichbach.

history

A bangle from the Hallstatt period was found in a burial mound that was demolished in 1906 , which refers to the early settlement of the area. In Wolichspach there was a farm owned by the duke in ancient times. In the year of conscription in 1752, Wolfsbach consisted of 25 properties and was part of the Frauenberg chairmanship and the Adlkofen office .

The Wolfsbach community emerged from the tax district of the same name . It belonged to the district office and district of Landshut. In the course of the regional reform it was largely incorporated into the municipality of Niederaichbach on July 1, 1971, the districts of Pöffelkofen and Zaitzkofen came to the municipality of Frauenberg and, after its dissolution, finally to Adlkofen.
