Volodymyr Ihnatenko

Volodymyr Volodymyrowytsch Ihnatenko ( Ukrainian Володимир Володимирович Ігнатенко , English transcription Volodymyr Ihnatenko; born April 17, 1955 in Nischyn , Ukrainian SSR ) is a former Ukrainian sprinter who competed for the Soviet Union .

At the European Athletics Championships in Prague in 1978, he won bronze over 100 m and in the 4 x 100 meter relay . He reached the semi-finals over 200 m .

The following year he was at the Athletics World Cup in Montreal in 1979 with the Soviet team sixth in the 4 x 100 meter relay .

In 1978 he became the Soviet champion over 100 m and 200 m .
