After the success of the Bee Gees with the soundtrack for the film Saturday Night Fever , Barbra Streisand asked them if they could write her an album too. The result was the album Guilty . Due to the worldwide success of Woman in Love , not only the song but also the album and some of the follow-up singles were successful.
