The Woogbachtal nature reserve is part of the Saarbrücken regional association in Saarland .

The area extends east of the core city of Saarbrücken . The A 6 runs along the western edge of the area, along the northern and northeastern edge, and the L 108 state road to the east and south. Saarbrücken Airport is located to the southeast .
