The Woolgar River is a river in the north of the Australian state of Queensland that only carries water during the rainy season .

geography

River course

The river has its source on the western slopes of the Gregory Range , which is part of the Great Dividing Range . It flows southwest through grasslands to its confluence with the Flinders River , about twelve kilometers west of the settlement of Burleigh .
