Voznesenske ( Ukrainian Вознесенське ; Ukrainian Вознесенское Voznesenskoje ) is a village in the northeast of the Ukrainian Cherkassy Oblast with about 3800 inhabitants (2001).
The 1724 first written mention the village is the administrative center of the eponymous district municipality in northern Rajon Zolotonosha to which even the settlements Kaniwschtschyna ( Канівщина , ⊙ ) with about 210 inhabitants, Stepowe ( Степове , ⊙ ) with about 30 residents and Palmira ( Пальміра , ⊙ ) belong.
Voznesenske is located on the bank of the Sukhyj Shar ( Сухий Згар ), a tributary of the Solotonoschka 17 km northeast of the district center Zolotonosha . The village has a train station on the Hrebinka –Solotonoscha railway line .
