Wunibald Lutz

Wunibald Lutz (born December 18, 1877 in Krauchenwies ; † March 24, 1949 ibid) was a Hessian politician ( SPD Hesse ) and former member of the state parliament of the People's State of Hesse in the Weimar Republic .

Life

Wunibald Lutz, who was a Catholic denomination, was the son of the farmer Josef Lutz and his wife Josefa nee Hotz. He married Babette nee Schüller. After graduating from elementary school, he worked as a carpenter until 1913. From 1914 to 1933 he was an employee of the labor movement in Worms, of which from May 1920 as party secretary. During the occupation of the Rhineland , he was unable to continue his work in Worms, as he was expelled from the occupation authorities between November 1923 and October 1924. With the seizure of power by the Nazis, he had to end his political work.

From 1907 to 1912 he was a board member of the branch of the woodworkers' association in Worms. 1908 to 1927 member of the supervisory board of the consumer cooperative in Worms.

Wunibald Lutz was chairman of the SP in the Worms district from 1911 to 1920 and also in the city of Worms from 1912 to 1921. From 1912 to 1915 he was chairman of the union cartel. In local politics he was active from 1919 to 1933 as a city councilor, member of the district council, the district committee, the provincial parliament and the provincial committee for Rheinhessen . From 1921 to 1924 he was a member of the Hessian state parliament. Reichstag candidacies in 1920, 1928 and 1930 (each in constituency 32 (Hessen-Darmstadt)) were unsuccessful.
