Wutzow is part of the Hohenlobbese district of Görzke in the Potsdam-Mittelmark district in Brandenburg .

Geographical location

Wutzow is west of the community center. In the north is the Buckautal community , in the east the community center, in the west the district Hohenlobbese and in the south the community Wiesenburg / Mark . Most of the area is built on.

history

The place was first mentioned in 1569 in a contract of inheritance from those von Schierstedt , who ruled the region for many centuries. The district was assigned to one of the three heirs as a Vorwerk . However, the economic development presumably stagnated: From 1782 two households with a total of 15 people have been handed down. After the end of the Second World War , the land was distributed to resettlers who built new farms. In the course of the regional reform in 2002, Wutzow came to Görzke together with Hohenlobbese. In 2018 newspapers reported about a domestic chicken that was sold by a breeder to a takeaway owner in Görzke and returned to its owner a few weeks later.

The village street is the only connection through the town in a west-east direction. It branches north into the municipality part and connects the properties. The bus routes 559, 588 and 593 of the VBB connect Wutzow with Ziesar, Brandenburg an der Havel and Bad Belzig.
