The Xar Moron He or Xilamulun River (Mongol. Šira Mören "Yellow River"; Шар Мөрөн ; Shar Mörön etc .; Chinese 西拉 木 伦 河 , Pinyin Xila Mulun He , English Xar Moron River, Xilamulun River ) is a 380 km long river in eastern Inner Mongolia in northeast China .
The Xar Moron He rises in the Baicha Shan Mountains ( 白 岔 山 ) in the southwest of the Witches' banner in southeastern Inner Mongolia . Coming from the north it later forms the Xiliao He ( 西 辽河 ) together with the Laoha He ( 老 哈 河 ) , which in turn flows into the Liao He ( Chinese 遼河 / 辽河 , English Liao River ).
It flows through the Witches Banner , the Ongniud Banner , Linxi County , the Right Bairin Banner , the Ar Horqin Banner and unites with the Laoha He to Xiliao on the border between the Ongniut Banner and the Naiman Banner Hey .
Its valley is the home of the Kitan (Chinese Qidan ).
