Xiaohe ( Chinese  小河 区 , Pinyin Xiǎohé Qū ) is a former Chinese municipality in the inner city of the prefecture -level city of Guiyang , the capital of Guizhou Province in the southwest of the People's Republic of China . It had an area of ​​63.13 square kilometers and in 2012 had about 162,800 inhabitants. In 2012, Xiaohe was dissolved as an independent district and integrated into the Huaxi district .

The 2000 population census showed a total population of 142,987 people in 43,548 households, of which 75,829 men and 67,158 women. The same census found that there were 28,113 people under the age of 14, 107,482 people between the ages of 15 and 64, and 7,392 people over the age of 65 living in Xiaohe.

Administrative structure

Xiaohe consisted of two large communities named Xiaohe (小河镇) and Jinzhu (金 竹 镇) at the community level according to the 2000 census . When it was dissolved in 2012, Xiaohe consisted of twelve communities called Xinglong (兴隆 社区), Ruihua (瑞华 社区), Qingpu (清浦 社区), Qianjiang (黔江 社区), Pingqiao (平桥 社区), Hangtian (航天 社区), Hangkong (航空 社区), Jinxin (金 欣 社区), Huanghe (黄河 社区), Sanjiang (三江 社区), Xiaomeng (小孟 社区), Jinzhu (金 竹 社区).
