Huaxi
Huaxi ( Chinese 花溪 区 , Pinyin Huāxī Qū ) is a municipality in the city of Guiyang , the capital of southwest China 's Guizhou Province .
The municipality is made up of the southern "suburbs" of Guiyang. It is about 12 km from the city center. Huaxi has an area of 957.6 km² and 326,538 inhabitants (December 31, 2004); the population density is 341 inhabitants / km².
The city district extends approximately from 106 ° 27 'to 106 ° 52' east and from 26 ° 1 'to 26 ° 34' north. It is approx. 45 km long from north to south and approx. 43 km wide from east to west. Its height ranges from 1030 m to 1326 m. 32% of the Huaxis surface is covered with forest.
Administrative structure
Huaxi is made up of three street districts, three large municipalities, four municipalities and six nationality municipalities:
- Guizhu Street District (贵 筑 街道);
- Road quarter Qingxi (清溪街道);
- Road quarter Xibei (溪北街道);
- Greater community Qingyan (青岩镇);
- Greater community Jinzhu (金竹镇);
- Greater community Shiban (石板镇);
- Community Jiu'an (久安乡);
- Community Dangwu (党武乡);
- Yanlou Township (燕 楼乡);
- Maiping municipality (麦 坪乡);
- Community Gaopo the Miao (高坡苗族乡);
- Xiaobi Parish of Bouyei and Miao (小碧 布依族 苗族 乡);
- Community Mengguan the Miao and Bouyei (孟关苗族布依族乡);
- Community Huchao the Miao and Bouyei (湖潮苗族布依族乡);
- Community Qiantao the Bouyei and Miao (黔陶布依族苗族乡);
- Community Maling the Bouyei and Miao (马铃布依族苗族乡).
On July 20, 2005, by resolution of the Guizhou Provincial Government, the "Greater Huaxi Community" (花 溪镇) and the "Huaxi Community of Bouyei and Miao" (花溪 布依族 苗族 乡) were dissolved. The three street districts of Guizhu, Qingxi and Xibei, which form the urban center of the district, were created from their territory.
