Xinliang Feng
Xinliang Feng (born May 25, 1980 in Anhui , China ) is a Chinese chemist , scientist and university professor specializing in 2D materials , especially graphene . Since 2014 he has been Professor of Molecular Functional Materials at the Technical University of Dresden within the Center for Advancing Electronics Dresden (cfaed) Cluster of Excellence .
Life
From 1997 to 2001 Feng studied chemistry at the Chinese University of Geosciences in Wuhan. In 2004 he completed a master's degree in organic chemistry at Jiaotong University in Shanghai . Also in 2004, Xinliang Feng began his doctorate at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research in Mainz, which he successfully completed four years later. From 2007 to 2012 he was group leader at the Max Planck Institute for Polymer Research, Mainz. Feng has been an associate visiting professor at Shanghai Jiaotong University since 2011. In 2014 he followed the call to the professorship for Molecular Functional Materials at the Technical University of Dresden created within the framework of the "cfaed" Cluster of Excellence.

- 2017: Hamburg Science Award (together with Klaus Müllen )
- 2019: Member of the Academia Europaea
