Xu Huiqin (born September 4, 1993 ) is a Chinese pole vaulter .
Athletic career
Xu Huiqin gained her first international experience at the Youth Asian Games in Singapore in 2009 , where she won the gold medal with 3.75 m. The following year she won the Junior Asian Championships in Hanoi with a skipped 3.90 m and was fourth at the first-ever Youth Olympic Games in Singapore with 4.10 m. Also at the Indoor Asian Championships 2012 in Hangzhou she finished fourth with 4.15 m and won the Junior Asian Championships in Colombo again with 4.25 m. She qualified for the Junior World Championships in Barcelona and finished eighth with a jump over 4.05 m. In 2014 she won the silver medal behind the Japanese Tomomi Abiko at the Asian Indoor Championships in Hangzhou with 4.15 m . In September, she participated in the Asian Games in Incheon for the first time , where she was fourth with a height of 4.05 m.
In 2015 she won silver at the Asian Championships in Wuhan with 4.30 m behind her compatriot Li Ling , as well as at the Asian Championships in Doha in 2019 with a skipped 4.36 m. She also qualified for the World Championships there in October, where she was eliminated with 4.50 m in the qualification .
