Yūka Hori ( Japanese 堀 優 花 , Hori Yūka ; born June 13, 1996 in Gifu Prefecture ) is a Japanese athlete who specializes in long-distance running.

Athletic career

Yuka Hori gained her first international experience at the 2017 World Cross Country Championships in Kampala , where she finished 24th in 34:54 minutes. In the 10,000 meter run she took part in the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar , where she won the silver medal behind the Kyrgyz Darja Maslowa in a time of 32: 23.26 minutes . The following year she took part in the 2018 World Half Marathon Championships in Valencia , where she finished 70th in 1:15:24 h. At the end of August she took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time, where she came in seventh in 32: 42.73 m. At the Asian Championships in Doha in 2019 , she finished sixth in 33: 15.65 minutes.
