Yūki Ōtsu ( Japanese 大 津 祐 樹 , Ōtsu Yūki ; born March 24, 1990 in Mito , Ibaraki Prefecture , Japan) is a Japanese football player who is under contract with Kashiwa Reysol .
Ōtsu is right-footed and a player for the offensive midfield . However, he can also play on the right and left flanks and can also be used as a hanging tip . Good tactical understanding, dribbling and speed are repeatedly mentioned as his strengths .
Career
Yūki Ōtsu started playing football because his two-year-old brother also plays football. Ōtsu made his Japanese J-League debut on March 9, 2008 for Kashiwa Reysol . A year later, on April 29, 2009, Yūki Ōtsu scored in the league game against Ōita Trinita with the winning goal in the 89th minute to 2-1 for Kashiwa and his first league goal. From 2008 to 2011 Yuki Otsu completed a total of 66 first division games for Kashiwa Reysol in which he scored 7 goals. During his active time at Kashiwa Reysol, Otsu was nicknamed Charao ( チ ャ ラ 男 ) and his own song.
For the 2011/12 season , Otsu signed a contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach until June 30, 2014, for which he wears jersey number 23. According to coach Lucien Favre and manager Max Eberl , Yūki Ōtsu is an interesting footballer for the future. On August 6, 2011 (1st match day) he made his debut for the second team of the foals in the Regionalliga West in the 3: 4 defeat in the home game against the second team of 1.
