Yūta Koike ( Japanese 小池 裕 太 , Koike Yūta ; born November 6, 1996 in Utsunomiya , Tochigi Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Yūta Koike learned to play football in the youth team of FC Spilit and Albirex Niigata and in the university team of Ryutsu Keizai University . From March 2015 to July 2015 he was loaned to the fifth division team Ryutsu Keizai Dragons Ryugasaki . The first division club Kashima Antlers from Kashima loaned him from the university from April 2016 to January 2017. In August 2018 he moved from Japan to Europe . Here he signed a contract with the Belgian club VV St. Truiden . The club from Sint-Truiden , which is based in the province of Limburg , played in the first division, the Jupiler Pro League (1A) . In 2018 he was not used in the league. In 2019 he returned to Japan on loan with the Kashima Antlers. For the Antlers he completed 14 first division games. With the Antlers he was in the final of the Emperor's Cup . The final they lost 2-0 against Vissel Kobe . After the loan, he did not return to Belgium. In early 2020 he signed a contract with the first division club Cerezo Osaka in Osaka .
