The heavy lift freighter Yacht Express is a 209 m long and 32 m wide semi-submersible ship owned by the Dutch shipping company Dockwise Shipping .

history

The ship was built at Yantai Raffles Shipyard in Yantai . The keel was laid on September 29, 2005, the launch on January 19, 2007. On October 10, 2007 the ship was completed.

technology

A special feature of the Yacht Express is the ability to lower the loading area below the surface of the water by lowering the entire ship so that the cargo to be transported can be floated in or pulled onto the deck by tugs.
