Yagoua is a city in the province of Extreme North , which forms the northern tip of Cameroon . It lies on the Logone River and on the border with Chad . Yagoua is the capital of the Mayo-Danay district .

history

During the German colonial days in Cameroon, the place Jagua was written, belonged to the residency of the German Tschadseeländer and had a military post that belonged to the 3rd company of the German protection force in Mora .
