Yalta ( Yalta ) was an export name for the vehicles of the car brand Saporoshez in the Western European countries.

The automobile plant Saporisky Awtomobilebudiwny Sawod , SAS or ZAZ for short, from Zaporozhye in the Ukraine used this brand name for exports to Belgium , the Netherlands and Scandinavia during the Soviet Union . Distribution was carried out by the following companies:

The Saporoshez was delivered to Austria under the brand name Eliette .

Models

  • Yalta or Yalta 850 - a Saporoshez SAS-965A in the export version with improved equipment (SAS-965AE) with a 0.9-liter engine. The technical data largely correspond to the SAS-965A. The car was available in Belgium at a price of 43,900 francs . The name in the Netherlands and Finland was Yalta , in Denmark: Jalta 900 .
  • Yalta 1000 - a Saporoshez SAS-966 with a 1.0 liter engine. Some of the Scaldia-Volga vehicles were equipped with the 956 cm³ four-cylinder in-line engine from the Renault 8 .
