Yampupata is a town in the La Paz department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
The village of Yampupata is located in the canton of Zampaya in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Copacabana in the province of Manco Kapac at an altitude of 3835 m on the shores of Lake Titicaca .
