Yangsan ( 양산시 ) is a city in Gyeongsangnam-do Province in South Korea . The city has a population of over 350,000 and is located near Busan .

There are several attractions in Yangsan, including the Tongdosa Temple , Yangsan Tower, and Yangsan Stadium .

The tire manufacturer Nexen Tire has its headquarters in the city.

Infrastructure

Yangsan has two stations on the Gyeongbu Line: Mulgeum Station ( 물금 역 ) and Wondong Station ( 원동역 ). The closest KTX stations are Ulsan Station in Ulsan and Gupo Station in Busan.

Subway

Busan Subway Line 2 currently serves the city with five stations: Yangsan Station, Namyangsan Station, Yangsan Campus Station of Busan National University, Jeungsan Station and Hopo Station. Another station is currently being planned.

The city of Yangsan is served by a local bus system. In addition to city transport, there are also long-distance buses to Busan and overland lines to Ulsan, Changwon , Gyeongju and some other cities.

Highways

The Gyeongbu Expressway (No. 1) and Jungang Expressway Branch Line (No. 551) run through Yangsan City. In addition, National Road 35 intersects the city center.
