Yannick Imbs (born July 5, 1985 in Strasbourg ) is a French football player .
Career
Yannick Imbs started playing football in Alsace and moved to Racing Strasbourg's youth academy in 2001 . Imbs also trained with the pros for the Strasbourgers, but was not used. In 2005 he completed a trial training session with the then Italian third division club SPAL Ferrara , but a commitment failed due to the veto of Racing Strasbourg. After another four trial training sessions - also with Italian third division clubs - Imbs returned to France and joined the amateur club AS Erstein at the end of 2006 . In the 2008/09 season he played for the US Reipertswiller from Reipertswiller and later moved to the other side of the Rhine to the German upper division Kehler FV . Imbs immediately became a regular player and service provider. In his first season he played 32 missions in which he scored 14 goals. In the following season he also played 32 missions, where he was top scorer of the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg with 24 goals . With these good performances he aroused the interest of other clubs in Germany (including league competitor SV Waldhof Mannheim ).
For the 2011/12 season Imbs moved to SV Sandhausen in the 3rd division . He made his professional football debut on November 25, 2011, when he came on for Aykut Öztürk after 85 minutes in the game against VfL Osnabrück . However, this was only followed by one more brief assignment and during the winter break the club borrowed another striker. On February 1, 2012, Imbs terminated his contract, which ran until the end of the season, for personal reasons; he wanted to be active again with a club in his home country, in particular with a club near Strasbourg. A short time later he signed with the Strasbourg suburban club and fifth division club SC Schiltigheim . In the following five years for SC Schiltigheim and during a one-year interlude at FCSR Hagenau (2014/15), Imbs scored a total of 35 goals in the fifth division ( CFA 2 , now National 3 ).
In August 2017 Imbs returned to the now sixth class Kehler FV , but left the club again during the winter break and moved to the French club Stadium Racing Colmar , with which he won the Coupe d'Alsace in 2018 and in 2019 as team captain of the Régional 2 Alsace ( Haut-Rhin) rose to Régional 1 Alsace.
