Yannick Jankovits (born January 6, 1987 ) is a French tennis player .

Career

Yannick Jankovits mainly plays on the lower class ITF Future Tour and ATP Challenger Tour . So far he has won 17 singles and 19 doubles on the Future Tour.

In 2005, Jankovits made his professional tour debut as an 18-year-old at a future tournament in France. In the following years he occasionally played other futures without being able to show any major successes. In 2011 he won his first title on the Future Tour. Two years later he took part in the qualification for the Open Sud de France , but failed in the first round to Guillermo Olaso . 2015 was the most successful year for Jankovits so far. On the Future Tour, he won five single and five double titles. On the Challenger Tour he reached the semi-finals in Eskişehir in singles and in Saint-Rémy in doubles. As a result, he achieved his best position in the world rankings to date with 226th place in the individual . In doubles, he scratched the top 300 at the end of the year.

On the Future Tour, he won further titles early in the season in 2016. At the French Open he was eliminated in the first round against Daniel Brands . In June he finally achieved his first success on the Challenger Tour. In Fargʻona he secured the double title with Luca Margaroli . Then he reached more semifinals, but did not make it into a final. In the 2016 season he played for the TC Amberg am Schanzl in the 2nd Bundesliga tennis . His best placement in doubles is, as in singles, a 226th place in spring 2017.
