action
The student Motoyasu Kitamura is teleported into a new world as one of four heroes, the hero of the spear . Because of Naofumi's companion Filo, he develops an obsession for "filolials", bird-like monsters whose queen has the ability to take on human form.
When he is critically injured in a battle, Motoyasu awakens again in the kingdom of Melromarc at the place of his summoning together with the three other heroes. He has traveled into the past , but with the knowledge that he had before his trip. So he knows what will happen to the hero of the shield and tries to save him from his fate and to support him, even if he turns the people of Melromarcs against him. He also learns that he can travel back in time with the help of his spear. He also takes care that nothing happens to the other two heroes. Should one of the heroes die, Motoyasu has to travel back in time again.
Along the way, Motoyasu tries to find out which monster egg Filo hatched from in order to make her her companion. He raises numerous filolials in search of the right egg.

reception
Demelza of the Anime UK News website gave the first two volumes in the double review a benevolent rating, stating that Neet's drawings are simpler than the main light novel series and the anime series, the But still capture heroes appropriately. The first two volumes of the manga cover a large part of the first light novel. One problem the reviewer had with the first novel was that it betrayed significant parts of the main series . This also occurs in the manga, but it can be skipped without breaking the thread while reading. Demelza noted that the manga was easy to read, even though there was a lot of action in it.
Josh Piedra from The Outerhaven also enjoyed the second part of the web manga. Although he identified a few points that struck him as strange, he still described reading the series as refreshingly funny.
