A month later he finds out that she is one of his classmates and rather inconspicuous in the class. Hoping to produce a visual novel , Aki turns to class beauties Eiri Spencer Sawamura to design the characters and Utaha Kasumigaoka to develop the game scenario. Tomoya eventually recruits Megumi, the girl he first met over the spring break, to be the spokesperson for the game's protagonist . Together they form the dojin development circle Blessing Software .
The series follows both the adventures of the characters during the development of the video game and their plans to later sell it on Comiket , as well as the emotional entanglements within the development team.

- Izumi is in the third year of Honoda Junior High and is two years younger than Tomoya. Like him, she is an otaku and is part of the dojin circle Fancy Wave . Through Tomoya's influence, she developed an interest in otaku culture, which is why she is grateful to him. Her favorite video game is the otome game Little Love Rhapsody since he gave her a copy of the successor and the PlayStation Portable for her birthday. There is a rivalry between Izumi and Eriri that leads Izumi to challenge Eriri at the Winter Comiket and join her brother Iori's circle, Rouge en Rouge , as an illustrator .
- Michiru Hyodo ( 氷 堂 美智 留 , Hyōdō Michiru )
- Michiru is Tomoya's cousin. She is in the third year of a girls' high school. Although she doesn't get good grades, Michiru is a versatile girl. She has a talent for all kinds of activities, which means that she cannot keep up an activity for long. Singing is her great passion, which is why she works as a singer and guitarist in the school band Icy Tail . At first, she wasn't thrilled that her cousin Tomoya is an otaku, as she was prejudiced against otaku. When the rest of the band explained to her that every band member is an otaku, her point of view changes. Michiru contributes the music for the visual novel by Blessing Software.
