Tetsuya Kakihara

Tetsuya Kakihara ( Japanese 柿 原 徹 也 , Kakihara Tetsuya ; born December 24, 1982 in Düsseldorf , Germany ) is a Japanese seiyū and singer . As a seiyū he is under contract with the 81produce agency and as a singer with the Kiramune label . He has been self-employed since June 2013. Growing up in Germany, he speaks fluent German and English in addition to Japanese .

Career

Kakihara graduated from the Amusement Media Academy in 2002. In 2007 he received for his role as Mikoto Yutaka in the series Princess Princess together with Masakazu Morita , the seiyū of Ichigo Kurosaki from the anime television series for the manga series Bleach , the award for the best young seiyū, which was presented for the first time that year Seiyu Awards.

As a singer, Kakihara released his first mini-album still on Journey on November 10, 2010. His second mini-album Continuous was released on February 15, 2012.
