The Yas Hotel ( Arabic فندق ياس, DMG funduq Yās ) is a 5-star hotel on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi . It is integrated into the Yas Marina Circuit , where a Formula 1 race took place for the first time in Abu Dhabi on November 1, 2009 . The Yas Hotel is currently (as of December 2011) managed by the Viceroy Hotel Group under the official name of Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi . In 2019 it became W Abu Dhabi, Yas Island, managed by Marriot, Bonvoy.

The hotel, which was planned by Asymptote Architecture , is located partly on water, partly on land. It consists of two twelve-story buildings on either side of the circuit. Hotel guests can watch the race happening from common rooms and from overhead parapets .

The buildings are spanned by a 16,000 m² curved, self-supporting roof from Waagner Biro . The roof is made up of 5,100 diamond-shaped glass panels and 10,500 steel connecting elements. It is equipped with light emitting diodes and can light up in changing colors.

On 85,000 square meters, the hotel has 499 rooms and eight restaurants . The presidential suite is furnished with furniture from the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
