Yazalde Gomes Pinto (born September 21, 1988 in Vila do Conde ), called Yazalde , is a Portuguese football player . The striker has been under contract with Rio Ave FC since summer 2015 .

Career

Yazalde's career began at Varzim SC , where he joined the first team that played in the Segunda Liga in 2006 . After only two appearances in his first season, he came more often to the train in the following years and was able to distinguish himself more and more as a goalscorer. In the first half of the 2008/09 season he scored five goals in twelve games for his team, whereupon first division Sporting Braga signed him. However, this loaned him to Rio Ave FC in his hometown in early 2009 , where he was able to sniff the first division air for the first time. After four goals in 15 missions in the second half of the 2008/09 season , he returned to Braga in the summer of 2009, but could not prevail in the subsequent half-series and only got three wins. His club loaned him to league rivals and promoted SC Olhanense .

After his return to Braga in the summer of 2010, the club agreed a two-year repeat loan deal with Rio Ave FC. There he became a regular in the storm and contributed six hits to eighth place in the 2010/11 season . The following year, there were eight of those with whom Rio Ave secured 14th place in the class. Yazalde returned to Braga in the summer of 2012, but only appeared in the club's second team in the Segunda Liga in the first half of the 2012/13 season . The result was another loan deal - this time with SC Beira-Mar , with whom he ended the 2012/13 season in last place and had to be relegated. In August 2013 he was loaned to the Romanian first division club Astra Giurgiu for a year . For Astra, he scored seven goals in 26 appearances in the 2013/14 season and reached the runner-up behind Steaua Bucharest . Shortly afterwards he converted the decisive penalty in the cup final on penalties and won his first title. After his return to Braga, his club loaned him to FK Qəbələ in Azerbaijan for a year in the summer of 2014 . The loan deal ended prematurely in January 2015. Braga then loaned him to Gil Vicente FC within the Primeira Liga . With Gil Vicente he had to relegate at the end of the 2014/15 season .

In the summer of 2015, Yazalde was transferred to Rio Ave FC . With his new club, he reached sixth place in the 2015/16 season , which meant qualifying for the Europa League .
