Ye Bi (born May 26, 1994 ) is a Chinese snowboarder . He mainly starts in the parallel disciplines slalom and giant slalom.

Career

Ye Bi made his international debut at the Snowboard Junior World Championships 2012 in the Spanish Sierra Nevada . After finishing 21st in the parallel giant slalom, he was 19th in the parallel slalom. From December 2012 Ye Bi started in the European Snowboard Cup . It was first used in the NorAm Cup in January 2013. At the Snowboard World Championships 2013 in Stoneham he finished two 42nd places in the parallel disciplines. Two months later he was twice 17th place in slalom and giant slalom at the Snowboard Junior World Championships 2013 in Erzurum . On December 13, 2013, it was used for the first time in the Snowboard World Cup in Carezza , but missed World Cup points significantly. In Bad Gastein and Rogla , too , he did not get a place in the points. In March 2014, he finished second at the National Junior Championships, which took place in Canada. In the same place he reached the points in the European Cup a few days later. At the Snowboard World Championships 2015 he reached 40th place in the parallel slalom and in the parallel giant slalom. A few weeks later he reached the top 10 in the NorAm Cup for the first time. This he achieved for the first time in the European Cup in December 2016 at the race in Hochfügen . On February 5, 2017, Ye Bi reached the World Cup points for the first time in Bansko, Bulgaria and was 25th in the parallel giant slalom. He did the same thing a week later in Pyeongchang . At the following Winter Asian Games in 2017 in Sapporo, he reached two sixth places. At the 2017 Snowboard World Championships in the Sierra Nevada, he finished 25th in the parallel slalom and 34th in the parallel giant slalom.
