UFA Talentbase is an online casting portal that was launched by UFA Film & TV Produktion GmbH . The primary goal of the platform is to find talent, new faces and people with extraordinary skills. The online casting portal UFA Talentbase started in February 2009 (back then under the name Your Chance) and offers castings for film and television productions. The registration and all functions of UFA-Talentbase.de are available to the user free of charge. The core of the user area is the individualized sedcard with which users can participate in castings. On these cards, you can present yourself as well as your skills using videos and photos. At the same time, there is the possibility of looking at other sedcards and evaluating them in order to support them in casting rounds. The sedcards are part of an applicant database that the casters can access.

The site also offers an editorial area with a focus on casting and talent finding, which reports casting tips as well as news, competitions and specials. Exclusive interviews with well-known actors allow a look behind the scenes and the Happy Endings section shows the successes of cast winners.

Registration is open to everyone who has reached the age of seven. Minors under 18 years of age require the consent of their legal guardian. With the content uploaded by users, the platform attaches particular importance to compliance with the rights of third parties (in particular copyrights, personal rights and trademark rights). Because of this and the applicable data protection guidelines, media that depict several people are not activated. Violations of legal regulations, netiquette as well as targeted advertising, political or religious beliefs will not be tolerated.
