Yrjö Jahnsson Prize

The Yrjö Jahnsson Prize is awarded biennially by the Finnish Yrjö Jahnsson Foundation (Yrjö Jahnssonin säätiö) together with the European Economic Association (EEA) to European economists under 45 who have made a contribution to theoretical and applied research for economics is important in Europe. The selection committee, chaired by the EEA President, consists of five members, four of whom are nominated by the European Economic Association and one by the Yrjö Jahnsson Foundation.
