Yttersjö is a crime scene in the northern Swedish municipality of Umeå in Västerbotten County . It is located on Lake Bjännsjön about twelve kilometers west of Umeå , the provincial capital and also the main town of the municipality. The secondary Länsväg AC 512 runs through the village from the center of Umeås to Gräsmyr . Two more roads to Stugunäs and Degersjö branch off here.
In contrast to many small towns in northern Sweden, Yttersjö was able to more than double its population, so that it appeared in the 2010 statistics for the first time as a crime scene.
