Career as a player

Despite his comparatively young age, Stalph has already had an eventful career in which he played for twelve clubs in eight countries on three continents. With this club he should actually have participated in the Club World Cup, but was suspended shortly before the tournament began. After a trial session in Thailand , he was signed by the second team of JEF United Ichihara Chiba . Due to an injury and a subsequent operation on his right knee joint , he was unable to assert himself there. In the summer of 2012, he returned to Germany for SC 07 Idar-Oberstein, where he initially played in the second team and was reassigned to the top division of the first team for the 2013/14 season. There he ended his career at the end of the season.
