Yuma Asami
Yuma Asami (Japanese 麻美 ゆ ま, born March 24, 1987 in Gunma Prefecture ) is a Japanese erotic star ( AV Idol ). Just a few years after starting her career in 2005, she was one of the most famous Japanese models at the top of the sales charts and with numerous industry awards. Not only did she star in hardcore and softcore porn, but also in Pink Films and mainstream television productions. In 2008 she also began a music career, initially solo, soon as leader of the Ebisu Muscats. Cancer ended her porn career in 2013. Recovered, she announced in 2015 that she would retire from the porn business and focus on music in the future.

Movie and TV
From 2005 she was under contract with Alice Japan (Japanese ア リ ス JAPAN) and S1 (Japanese エ ス ワ ab) and shot about one film there each month. Most of her films for Alice Japan have been directed by Yuji Sakamoto and most of her films for S1 have been directed by Hideto Aki . S1 does not enter into exclusive contracts and specializes in mainstream pornography. The label is therefore rather untypical for Japanese pornography . At the same time, it is also seen as a career springboard, which enables the models to work for other labels.
Asami quickly became one of the most popular Japanese porn actresses. From 2006 she won various erotic industry awards. In August 2008, she was ranked number 3 on the list of Japanese models with the most DVD sales.
As usual for Japanese AV idols, she not only appeared in hardcore films, but also in softcore productions such as Ninja She Devil (Japanese 妖 艶 く ノ 一 伝 ～ 鍔 女 篇) by Yoshikazu Katō from 2006 or over 12 weeks Manga adaptation Shimokita GLORY DAYS (Japanese 下 北 GLORY DAYS) broadcast on TV Tokyo . She also played in various Pink Films , e.g. B. 2008 in the erotic horror movie Siren X of Hideo Jojo and 2010-2012 in three films by Kyoko Aizome : Shinshaku: Yojōhan fusuma no shitabari (jap.新釈四畳半襖の下張り), a new interpretation of an earlier novel adaptation of Kafu Nagai , Abe Sada: Saigo no nanokakan (阿 部 定 ～ 最後 の 七日 間 ～), where Asami plays the main role of Sada Abe , and Captive Market (Japanese 奴隷 市) based on a novel by Oniroku Dan .

In 2006 she had a role in the game Yakuza 2 for PlayStation 2 .
In 2010 she was the leading actress in one of the first two 3D porn films, the title Attracting The Best Stereoscopic 3D Yuma Asami Sex BODY produced by S1, which came on the market at the same time as the 3D televisions from Sony and Panasonic and sales of the televisions fired.

In January 2008 she released a solo CD with J-Pop . A bonus DVD with u. a. 60 minutes of footage.
In the summer of 2008 she was a founding member of the Ebisu Muscats , an idol girl group put together for a TV show, which from 2010 also released singles and albums and did live tours. The group had a frequently changing line-up of around 20-30 girls. Asami followed Sola Aoi as the group leader and held this position until she fell ill with cancer, when she was replaced by Aino Kishi . The farewell album 卒業 ア ル バ ム from 2013 reached the top 10 of the Japanese charts. When the group was reorganized in 2015, she was again one of three PTA members (a kind of honorary age membership). She is the only model who has been involved since the group was founded.
Fight with cancer
A cancer operation in which her uterus and ovaries were removed, as well as several subsequent chemotherapy treatments, ended her career as a hardcore actress in 2013. Despite having started chemotherapy, she performed in 2013 as part of the Ebisu Muscats farewell tour.
Her autobiography Re Start ~ Re ん な 時 も 自 分 を 信 じ て ~ was published in May 2014 , in which she describes her previous life and her struggle with cancer. For Cancer Net Japan she participated in a campaign to prevent abdominal cancer.
In May 2015, she officially announced that she would withdraw from the adult entertainment industry, but still want to be active as a musician and singer.
