Yun Hyon-seok (born August 7, 1984 in Incheon , South Korea , † April 26, 2003 in Seoul , South Korea) was a South Korean LGBT activist, homosexual poet and writer.

From 2002 to 2003 he was part of the human rights movement, which campaigns for rights in the field of LGBT , and participated in the organization DongInRyun ( 동인련 ). In 2003, Yun became a conscientious objector .

On April 26, 2003, he committed suicide in Seoul suicide , because of the alleged he homophobia in South Korea. He killed himself in DongInRyun's office and left a suicide note denouncing the discrimination against sexual minorities and the intolerance of conservative Christians.

His pseudonym under which he appeared in public was Yook Woo-dang ( kor.  육우당 , Hanja  六 友 堂 , rev.  Yuk U-dang ), other pseudonyms were Seolheon ( 설헌 , 雪 軒 ) and Midong ( 미동 , 美 童 ).
