Career
From 2004 to 2005 Yun coached the North Korean national team without any notable success. He then looked after the U-20s of North Korea for almost two years between 2008 and 2010, before coaching the senior national team a second time.
He led his country to win the AFC Challenge Cup in 2012 , but narrowly failed to qualify for the 2014 World Cup . At the Asian Games in 2014 , he led his team to the final , where they had to admit defeat to neighboring South Korea 1-0 after extra time. Yun has been coaching the North Korean U-23 national team since September 2014.
