Yunguyo is a city in the Puno region in the extreme southeast of Peru . Yunguyo is the administrative seat of Yunguyo Province and Yunguyo District . The population was 11,766 in 2017. The city's population was 9036 in 1993 and 11,934 in 2007.
location
Yunguyo is located on a peninsula on the southwest shore of Lake Titicaca . The state border with Bolivia runs directly to the east of the city , and from there an asphalt road leads to the coastal town of Copacabana on the Bolivian side, a few kilometers away .
